Childcarers
We offer permanent, live-in, live out and temporary Nannies, Parents Helpers and Maternity Practitioners. Our goal is to find the most compatible candidate for you. We will liaise closely with you throughout the process and will only put forward candidates that we feel are well suited to your families needs.
We have put the following information together as general advice and guidance for parents planning to employ a Nanny, Parents Helper or Maternity Practitioner. We hope you find it useful and that you will not hesitate to call us for further advice.
Nanny
Our Nannies are either qualified or have experience. Not all nannies take a formal childcare training but nevertheless make excellent Nannies through the experience they have gained over the years. They have a high level of commitment and will be intelligent and responsible enough to take sole charge of your children.
Employing a Nanny ensures that your children are not being disturbed by a change of environment. As a busy professional parent, a Nanny gives you more flexibility with your working pattern. It also ensures that siblings enjoy chosen activities and stay together. You will have far more control over your child's activities i.e. if you want the Nanny to take your children swimming followed by a piano lesson then you can say so.
Bright Beginnings Childcare Agency specialises in the provision of Nanny Agency Services.
Parents Helper
A Parents Helper tends to be someone who is either newly qualified or unqualified but has some experience in the care of children. They may have been caring for children for many years or they may be someone who has a love of children and is starting out on a career in childcare. A Parents helper is usually suitable for the care of children of 3 years and upwards unless they have specific relative experience of children below this age. They are usually prepared to do some light housework and may require some direction to meet your children's needs. A Parent helper is perfect if you work part time, work from home or just need an extra pair of hands.
Maternity Practitioner
Maternity Practitioners are trained or experienced Nurses and Nannies who specialise in the care of newborn babies. They help parents prepare for and adjust to the first few weeks/months of the new baby’s life – supporting the family as it settles into a routine. This is normally takes between 4 -8 weeks. although the exact period can depend on individual circumstances.
